On 25th April 2026, MACRO Shipping Limited proudly hosted its Long Service Award Workers’ Durbar at Thy Favor Hotel, bringing together staff, leadership, and key stakeholders to honour the dedication and commitment of its employees.

Under the theme “Celebrating Loyalty, Honouring Commitment, Inspiring the Future,” the event served as both a reflection of the company’s journey and a reaffirmation of its people-centered values. The durbar began with a warm reception and registration session, followed by an opening ceremony that featured a welcome address from the General Manager, setting the tone for a memorable celebration.

A key highlight of the program was the Company Reflection Segment, where attendees were taken through a visual and narrative journey of the organization’s growth, milestones, and achievements. On February 26th and 27th, 2026, Macro Shipping Limited hosted an intensive training program on Strategic and Change Management at the Thy Favour Hotel Conference Room. Facilitated by Corporate Support Group (CSG) Ltd, the session brought together our Board members, Management, and Heads of Departments to align our corporate vision with the evolving demands of the insurance and logistics landscape.

The comprehensive curriculum focused on refining our Mission and Vision statements while prioritizing key objectives such as increasing market share, enhancing customer experience, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Leaders engaged in deep dives into the Strategic Change Process, learning how to empower middle management to champion innovation and operational efficiency. Furthermore, the training emphasized robust communication strategies and the integration of new cultural values to ensure long-term change sustainability. The program concluded with the presentation of certificates to all participants, marking a significant milestone in our commitment to leadership excellence and organizational growth.

As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) commitment, Macro Shipping Limited in collaboration with Takoradi Hospital successfully organized a free breast cancer screening exercise to commemorate the 2025 World Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The event took place on Friday, 24th October 2025, at the company’s Fleet Yard in Takoradi.

The exercise formed part of Macro Shipping’s ongoing efforts to promote health and wellbeing among its employees and the surrounding community. The event attracted a significant number of participants, including female staff, dependents, and women from the neighboring communities.

A dedicated medical team from Takoradi Hospital conducted the screening and provided participants with valuable education on early detection, risk factors, and preventive measures. In addition to the screening, attendees received one-on-one consultations and educational materials to help raise awareness about the importance of regular checkups and healthy lifestyle practices.

Speaking at the event, was the CEO, MR. ROLAND AZALIMAH, a company expressed appreciation to Takoradi Hospital for their partnership and to all participants for their enthusiastic involvement. He emphasized that Macro Shipping Limited remains committed to initiatives that promote community health and development, especially those that empower women and support early disease detection.

Macro Shipping Limited is pleased to confirm the successful discharging of bulk clinker from the Belhaven vessel on the 12th of April 2024. The operation was conducted efficiently and in compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and operational guidelines to ensure a smooth and timely discharge process.

The discharging process took place at the designated berth, with all necessary logistics and handling equipment deployed to facilitate the unloading. Our team worked diligently to oversee the operation, ensuring that all procedures adhered to international maritime standards and port regulations.

We extend our appreciation to all stakeholders, including port authorities, stevedores, and operational teams, for their cooperation and commitment to ensuring a seamless discharge operation.

The QHSE department of Macro Shipping Ltd, committed to continual improvement and promoting health, safety, and a clean working environment, organized a two-day First Aid Training for its Emergency Response Team (ERT) members from August 14th to 15th, 2024. The training was facilitated by the Ghana Red Cross Society at Thy Favor Hotel in Anaji, Takoradi.

Top Management demonstrated their commitment to a safe working environment by attending the two-day exercise, which included 25 ERT members from various departments across Macro Shipping Ltd’s branches in Takoradi, Accra, and Tema.

The training covered several key topics, including:

  1. Understanding First Aid
  2. The Qualities of a First Aider
  3. Casualty Management
  4. Ambulance Management
  5. Simulations
  6. Group Presentation on Casualty Management
  7. Transportation of Casualties

This training aimed to enhance the skills and knowledge of ERT members, not only in the workplace but also at home and in the community. Participants have gained valuable guidelines and insights for handling emergency situations, thereby advancing the department’s safety goals.
